Privacy consultations: Panama, Ecuador

In mid-September I will be spending some time in both Panama and Ecuador.  If you wish to arrange a consultation with me, there will be no extra charge for transportation.

If the consultation has to do with business--here's your chance for a tax-deductible trip to either country.

If you are considering a move to either country, here's a short answer:

Pro: You can get by without learning Spanish.
Con:  Prices are generally at least double those of Ecuador

Pro: Unusually low prices, spectacular scenery
Con:  Best to learn at least rudimentary Spanish.

  1. I have a friend who is exploring the world for the right place to move to. He has already been first to Panama, then to Costa Rica. Now he is in New Zealand. He reports that Auckland is at least 25% more expensive in all regards than the US. He has rented a camper for a month and he will be exploring the countryside. I have asked him for his criteria in making his choice. Speaking just for myself, I would consider cost of living, climate, culture, political system, level of crime, distance from the
ocean. I might mention that Austin Texas was the starting point for his quest. He is relatively young, healthy, and recently retired from a civil service job with the state. Also he is single and comfortable with a solitary life. If I may, I would like to post anything of interest that he mentions.
